Land Rover marks 50 years of the Range Rover with a new model
The new model is called the Range Rover Fifty, with a limited number of only 1,970 will be made, which refers to when the first Range Rover was introduced in 1970.
The Range Rover Fifty with be available with both standard and long-wheelbase body styles and it will be based on the Autobiography model. The badge ‘Fifty’ is applied to the dashboard, headrests, illuminated tread plates and on a plaque found in the cabin. It will come with various extras including new coloured trims with a new black shade called Auric Atlas. Customers can also add unique 22-inch wheels, which is an optional extra.
Land Rover hasn’t released any information about the engine line-up, but it is expected that the four-cylinder P400e plug-in hybrid will be on offer.
The Range Rover Fifty will be available in four colours: Carpathian Grey, Rosello Red, Aruba, and Santorini Black. A small number of customers will be able to choose from a further three paintwork options which were all available on the original Range Rover, from 1970, Tuscan Blue, Bahama Gold and Davos White.
