That's a funny looking Ford GT... I'm not too sure on this one...
The “Le MANSORY” is limited to three units worldwide, that’s three too many if you ask me. It’s built to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary and the Le-Mans-winning Ford GT40 from the Sixties.
All of them are finished in a special colour called Bleurion Race. MANSORY give them a complete vehicle conversion with a fully carbon fibre body. The original headlights are replaced with LED units, along with fender extensions, a rear spoiler, 21-inch forged wheels and poking out the back are three large exhaust tips.
It’s not just a tonne of body kit added on. It gets a power increase from 651bhp with 550lb-ft to 700bhp with 620lb-ft, from the same 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine which is fitted next to the standard seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The power difference gives it a top speed of 220mph, opposed to 216mph.
The design certainly stands out, although I can’t say I’m a fan…It looks like it’s been designed in Need for Speed or it’s the sort of car you’ll find in Grand Theft Auto. I don’t know about you, but I prefer the original Ford GT. The price hasn’t been released yet, but it certainly won’t be cheap.
