VW Launch Golf R Final Edition

Volkswagen are launching a limited-run of 450 Golf R Final Edition units, for the Australian market. They come standard with a Dynaudio premium audio sound system, Nappa leather upholstery, gloss black door mirror covers and 19″ Black Pretoria wheels.

150 of the 450 units will be sold in either Victoria Blue, Violet Touch Pearlescent or Viper Green Metallic. These three shades are ‘Volkswagen Colour Concept’ custom orders, costing $300 (£167) for which the car is removed from the assembly line to be hand-painted in separately.

The Golf R Final Edition will be available in May, priced at $57,990 (£32,260), while the standard Gold R is priced at $55,490 (£30,870). This Golf R isn’t the final version of the MK7.5, since the tuned GTI TCR Edition will come in limited numbers around the middle of this year, too.
